The World Ends With You Returns on the Nintendo Switch

<p>Perhaps one of the most famous roleplaying games in the Nintendo DS library is getting remastered and brought to the Nintendo Switch&period; <em>The World Ends With You&colon; Final Remix<&sol;em> was announced today during the surprise Nintendo Direct Mini and gameplay of the game was shown off&period; The game looks as stylized as ever&comma; and looks incredibly slick for the Switch&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;132965" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-132965" style&equals;"width&colon; 1000px" class&equals;"wp-caption aligncenter"><img class&equals;"size-large wp-image-132965" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2018&sol;01&sol;11163451&sol;maxresdefault-1-1024x576&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"1000" height&equals;"563" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-132965" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">Expect The World Ends With You&colon; Final Mix to clean up an already stellar looking game&period; &lpar;Square Enix&rpar;<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p><em>The World Ends With You<&sol;em> was originally released on the Nintendo DS in 2017&period; The game takes place in Shibuya&comma; and follows the adventures of Neku and his pals as they fight in a world split between the land of the living and the dead in an intriguing futuristic game setting&period; As Neku fights through the Reaper&&num;8217&semi;s Game&comma; the game is split up into a few chapters and is full of stylistic designs courtesy of Tetsuya Nomura&comma; known for his work on <em>Kingdom Hearts<&sol;em> and<em> Final Fantasy<&sol;em>&comma; and great combat&period; The game utilized the dual screens of the DS&comma; and filled both with characters and information as well as using the touchscreen in-game&period; The game on the Switch will be playable with traditional controls and with touchscreen controls&comma; so you&&num;8217&semi;ll be able to play on your tv or on the go easily&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>An important thing to note is that <em>The World Ends With You&colon; Final Remix<&sol;em> will also include a sizeable new scenario&comma; offering up some more tasty story to an already meaty action-RPG&period; Square Enix have stated that they were planning on supporting the Switch this year&comma; and with <em>Lost Sphear<&sol;em> already on the way&comma; I would expect even more news from Square Enix soon enough&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>The World Ends With You<&sol;em> has gained a great deal of notoriety over the years as one of Square Enix&&num;8217&semi;s most stylish and original role-playing games&comma; so it&&num;8217&semi;s great that they are releasing an updated HD version of the game in 2018&period; Hopefully this is a lead-off to a true sequel to the game&comma; and someday we will be visiting Shibuya and the Reaper&&num;8217&semi;s Game in full-on 3d&period; Well&comma; we can dream right&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;a&lowbar;u7g5BlfiY">Nintendo Direct Mini<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
