Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive are set to release a ‘Game of the Year Edition’ for World War Z. The edition will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. Costing around $49.99 for consoles, and $44.99 for PC. This edition includes the base game, season pass and also new updates.
Like other games such as Samurai Shodown, the game will be released as an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any word about whether or not the game would come to the Steam platform.
World War Z Game of the Year Edition New Content
World War Z ‘Game of the Year Edition’ also boasts some new content! Check out what they’ve added in below:
- New Episode – Three new player-versus-enemy missions in the French city of Marseille, with their own maps, story, and characters.
- Weapon Packs – The Lobo Weapon Pack, Biohazard Weapon Pack, Military Bundle Weapon Pack, new Last Aid Weapon Pack, plus one new upcoming weapon pack.
- Character Packs – The Professionals Character Skin Pack and War Heroes Character Skin Pack.
Since it’s initial release way back in April 2019, the co-op shooter has gained a ton of content, including the wave-based Horde Mode Z; Xbox One and PC cross-play; new player-versus-enemy missions and enemies; the weekly challenge mode; and the very extreme six-skulls difficulty setting.
