Wreckateer Looks Like Kinect Version of Angry Birds

<p style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;"><img class&equals;"aligncenter wp-image-17087" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2012&sol;06&sol;e3-wreckateer2&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"480" height&equals;"319" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Iron Galaxy Studios demoed their new motion controlled title&comma; <em>Wreckateer<&sol;em> during the E3 opening&&num;8217&semi;s Microsoft Press Event&period; The first thing I noticed when it was being shown was that it had a striking resemblance to <em>Anrgy Birds<&sol;em> and <em><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;armorgames&period;com&sol;play&sol;3614&sol;crush-the-castle">Crush the Castle<&sol;a> <&sol;em>as players use catapults to bring down goblin-infested castles in an attempt to exterminate them&lpar;vis-a-vis <em>Angry Birds&&num;8217&semi;<&sol;em> evil pigs&rpar;&period; What sets it apart from these games however&comma; is the use of hand motions to control firing and movement of the projectiles as well as the fact that it adds a third dimension to the castle smashing formula&period; We saw swipes being used to tilt the motion of thrown rocks in mid-air as well wide sweeping gestures to split a shot into four smaller ones&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This is the quintessential pickup-and-play experience and likely to be target to a casual games crowd&period; I&&num;8217&semi;d put my money on this being an XBLA release though no information was given about its release date&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;"><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;wreckateer-kinect-version-angry-birds&sol;wreckateer-xbox-360&sol;" rel&equals;"attachment wp-att-17088"><img class&equals;"aligncenter wp-image-17088" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2012&sol;06&sol;wreckateer-xbox-360&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"617" height&equals;"345" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
