X-Men: Days of Future Past Extended Cut Coming 2015

<p><em><strong>X-Men&colon; Days of Future Past<&sol;strong><&sol;em> may be hitting DVD and Blu-ray on <strong>October 14<&sol;strong>&comma; but good things are coming to those who wait&period; An extended cut of <strong><em>Days of Future Past<&sol;em> <&sol;strong>will be released next summer featuring <strong>Anna Paquin<&sol;strong> as <strong>Rogue<&sol;strong>&period; The new cut will feature 10 minutes of deleted footage which include other characters as well&comma; but is mostly being dubbed as the Rogue Cut&period; No official date has been given&comma; but it will be debuting on video sometime in 2015&period; Simon Kinberg&comma; who made the announcement&comma; had this to say&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote><p>It’s a big chunk&comma; a substantial part of the movie&period; We want to give &lpar;fans&rpar; the fullest picture of the film — behind the camera&comma; and in front of it&period; … Every movie has scenes that are cut out&comma; but not every movie has scenes cut out with such a beloved character&period;<&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>And director <strong>Bryan Singer<&sol;strong> gave his two cents on the cut as well&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote><p>It’s a really good sequence and it will probably end up on the DVD so people can see it&period; But like many things in the editing process&comma; it was an embarrassment of riches and it was just one of the things that had to go&period;<&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>This isn&&num;8217&semi;t the first time Fox has done this as with the extended and much improved version of <strong><em>The Wolverine<&sol;em><&sol;strong> on video&period; Of course&comma; if you can&&num;8217&semi;t wait&comma; the theatrical cut is currently available to purchase digitally and on DVD&sol;Blu-ray this October&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;variety&period;com&sol;2014&sol;film&sol;news&sol;fox-to-add-anna-paquin-back-to-x-men-days-of-future-past-1201314028&sol;">Variety<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
