The Xbox 360 Did Pretty Well During Black Friday Weekend

<p>The Xbox 360 seemed to kick all kinds of ass during the Black Friday weekend&comma; according to Major Nelson&comma; who just so happened to check the stats for their system collected from Sunday &lpar;Nov 18th&rpar; to Friday &lpar;Nov 23rd&rpar;&period; In total&comma; the Xbox 360 sold more than 750&comma;00 units&comma; a number far higher that what was expected&period; But the data doesn&&num;8217&semi;t stop there&comma; as even the Xbox Live service saw an increase in activity&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Three month Gold subscriptions got a 50&percnt; boost&comma; 14 million people were on Xbox Live that Sunday alone and a 43&percnt; increase in total hours was seen coming from entertainment apps&comma; when compared to last year&period; I can&&num;8217&semi;t accurately recall what it was doing during the former half of last week&comma; but I&&num;8217&semi;m pretty sure I was on Xbox Live at some point too&period; Who would&&num;8217&semi;ve thought that a console this far into its lifespan would still be able to pull in numbers like this&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Congrats&comma; Microsoft and the Xbox 360&period; People still enjoy what you have to offer and apparently have no problem braving the Black Friday crowd to buy stuff&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrack;Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;majornelson&period;com&sol;2012&sol;11&sol;27&sol;xbox-360-black-friday-report&sol;">Major Nelson<&sol;a>&rsqb;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
