Xbox Game Pass Ruled Out From Other Consoles

<p>Xbox Game Pass has been the topic of a rather innovative service across all of its consoles&comma; and even on PCs&period; The service aims to be different from Xbox Live Gold&comma; in the sense of&comma; sure&comma; you aren&&num;8217&semi;t paying for online access&comma; but you get access to over 100 games you can play at any time without paying full price for&period; Game Pass Ultimate does this as well&comma; and also includes Gold&comma; but is more expensive&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>That stuff isn&&num;8217&semi;t why we&&num;8217&semi;re here today&comma; though&period; Given how successful that it&&num;8217&semi;s been&comma; to the point where brand-new titles like <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;forza-horizon-5-announced&sol;">Forza Horizon 5<&sol;a> will be available to Game Pass Ultimate on release day&period; Surely&comma; you&&num;8217&semi;d think that because of how lucrative it is&comma; you&&num;8217&semi;d be able to take Game Pass to places that aren&&num;8217&semi;t the Xbox series of consoles and PCs&comma; right&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"aligncenter size-full wp-image-172688" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2021&sol;08&sol;14131859&sol;gears-5-image-2&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"1920" height&equals;"1080" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3 style&equals;"text-align&colon; center">It&&num;8217&semi;s Not Happening Going Forward<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>According to an interview from <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;gamesradar&period;com&sol;xbox-everywhere-phil-spencer-wants-an-xbox-app-on-as-many-devices-as-possible&sol;">Gamesradar<&sol;a>&comma; Xbox CEO Phil Spencer had shed some light on the topic of Game Pass on other consoles&period; When asked&comma; he replied with&comma; &&num;8220&semi;You know&comma; it&&num;8217&semi;s the right question because people usually ask me about releasing one individual game or another&period; And what I say is I want the full Xbox experience to be something that we deliver&period; We have no plans to bring it to any other kind of closed platforms right now&comma; mainly because those closed platforms don&&num;8217&semi;t want something like Game Pass&period; There&&num;8217&semi;s a ton of open platforms out there for us to grow in&colon;  the web&comma; PC&comma; and mobile&period; So all of our focus&comma; frankly&comma; is on those platforms&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>So&comma; the possibility is ruled out for the foreseeable future&period; Spencer also finished up with&comma; &&num;8220&semi;In the end&comma; when we say we want everybody to be able to play on Xbox&comma; we really mean if we can bring that full experience to a device that players want&comma; we are totally open to those discussions&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>What do you think about the Xbox Game Pass being ruled out from opposing platforms&quest; Do you think it&&num;8217&semi;s the right thing to do&quest; Do you think that the subscription service should go to other mediums&quest; Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
