Xbox Live Marketplace is Now the Xbox Games Store

<p>Upon going to the Xbox Marketplace in your browser&comma; you may notice that something &&num;8211&semi;particularly the name&&num;8211&semi; seems different&period; No&comma; you wouldn&&num;8217&semi;t be seeing thing&comma; because the Xbox Marketplace is no longer called that&comma; it&&num;8217&semi;s now the Xbox Games Store&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>When Microsoft was questioned about the name change by <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;joystiq&period;com&sol;2013&sol;08&sol;30&sol;xbox-live-marketplace-rebranded-as-xbox-games-store&sol;">Joystiq<&sol;a>&comma; a spokesperson said&comma; &&num;8220&semi;That&&num;8217&semi;s right&comma; &lbrack;Xbox Live Marketplace&rsqb; is now called the Xbox Games Store&comma; and will sit alongside the Xbox Music Store and Xbox Video Store&period; This is to make it easier for consumers to find content both on Xbox 360 today and Xbox One when it launches in November&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>It never occurred to me what I referred to Xbox Live&&num;8217&semi;s online store as&comma; but yeah&comma; &&num;8216&semi;Xbox Games Store&&num;8217&semi; seems to make the most sense&period; It&&num;8217&semi;s the online store you buy digital Xbox games from&period; So simple&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
