<p>If you plan on playing your copy of <em>Halo 5<&sol;em> you received for Christmas in expert style&comma; you’ll have to wait at least a few months&period; Make it your New Year’s resolution to rack up kills without the benefit of an Xbox One Elite controller&comma; as they won’t be in stock until March 2016&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A Microsoft representative had this to say about the shortage&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;While the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller is sold out in many retailers around the world&comma; we are working quickly to get more units in the hands of fans&period; We expect more units to arrive at retailers each week but supply may be limited through March 2016&period;”<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Elite controller was released along with <em>Halo 5&colon; Guardians <&sol;em>on October 27th&comma; for the hefty price of &dollar;150&period; Since then&comma; many gamers have shown great interest in the controller with the magnetic analog sticks and swappable components&period; The demand has made it difficult for Microsoft to keep the controller in stock during the holiday season&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Keep an eye out for restocking of the Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller at Gamestop and Amazon&comma; as they will definitely sell through quickly&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; Tech Insider<&sol;p>&NewLine;
