XCOM 2 Headed to Consoles

<p>It was recently announced by Firaxis that their sequel&comma; <em>XCOM 2<&sol;em> would be coming to consoles this September&period; When first announced last year&comma; it was said to be exclusive to PC&period; In fact&comma; in interviews after the game&&num;8217&semi;s announcement it was said &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;<em>XCOM 2 is not coming out for consoles&period;<&sol;em>”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>XCOM&colon; Enemy Unknown<&sol;em> was a huge hit with fans of the old games and a sleeper hit as it became Game of the Year for many people&period; It made a huge impact on PC and consoles alike and fans made themselves heard demanding <em>XCOM 2<&sol;em> be released on consoles&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>For those of you that were upset last year that it was PC only and decided to ignore everything about <em>XCOM 2<&sol;em>&comma; you will be once again filling the shoes of the commander and now leading a rebellion as the events of the last game saw that the aliens actually won the war and have now taken over Earth&period; It is 20 years later&comma; so it is about time to take it back and you will be doing so by recruiting other like-minded people wanting to take the fight to the aliens that most people are now loyally following&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Firaxis themselves are not handling the port of the game however&comma; it is being ported by The Workshop&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>XCOM 2<&sol;em> to will be releasing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6&comma; 2016&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;blog&period;us&period;playstation&period;com&sol;2016&sol;06&sol;07&sol;xcom-2-deploys-on-ps4-september-6&sol;">PlayStation Blog<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
