During Ubisoft’s digital showcase, Ubisoft Forward, the team behind XDefiant teased information
about the upcoming content that players can expect with arrivial of Season 1. Currently the free-to-play competitive first-person shooter is in the ‘pre-season’ phase, Ubisoft San Francisco is using this phase to gain feedback and make improvements to game before the official full launch, recently one of the changes coming via a free update will add aim penalties to characters that ‘bunny hop’ around the map.
At the Forward event, XDefiant teased the following content that will be coming to Season 1:
• 1 new faction – GSK (Inspired by Rainbow Six Siege)
• 3 new maps (1 new map per month)
o Clubhouse
o Daytona
o Rockefeller
• 3 new weapons
• 1 new mode – Capture the Flag
• Ranked Play
Ubisoft also said that more information on new content will be released on July 1st in the form of the ‘XDebrief Show’, just one day before Season 1 officially launches, Ubisoft said a full reveal of Season 1 content – including more information on GSK, Capture the Flag, the 3
new weapons, other new cosmetics and game features will be the focus in the episode.
