Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Star – Voyaging Ark is going to be released on both DVD and Blu-ray. The set will include the film, audio commentary, a booklet and bonus extras such as the promotional videos and commercials. Only the Blu-ray edition will include English Subtitles and the first edition Blu-ray release offers special extras like the story boards scenery video, event footage and more.
This movie does have the “true ending” of the Yamato 2199 story according to Anime News Network. Bandai Visual is releasing the film on May 27, 2015.
