Mario’s loyal green steed is getting bigger by the day and we don’t just mean that metaphorically. The star of Yoshi’s Woolly World is getting an even bigger version of the amiibo plushes that were announced earlier this spring.

While the smaller Yarn Yoshi amiibo will be on store shelves this Oct. 16th in North America for $16.99, the larger Yarn Yoshi amiibo will be available a few weeks later on Nov. 15th for $39.99. Yoshi’s Wooly World will cost $49.99 alone, but the game will be included in a bundle with a small, green Yarn Yoshi amiibo for $59.99. The smaller Yarn Yoshi amiibo will be available in blue, green, and pink while the big Yarn Yoshi amiibo only comes in green.

Big or small, all of the Yarn Yoshi amiibo will provide the same in-game functionality, bringing a second Yoshi into the game by tapping the plush amiibo on the Wii U gamepad’s NFC reader will activate “Double Yoshi.” Players will also be able to save their favorite Yoshi pattern to the amiibo. The news follows Nintendo’s announcement of its holiday release schedule for both the Wii U and 3DS.

Yoshi’s Wooly World may be old news already in some corners of the world, having already seen release on the Wii U this past June and July in Europe and Japan. It’s still more than a month until North Americans will be playing it this Oct. 16th, meanwhile.
