Zynga Closing Three Offices, Relocating Teams

<p>Three offices owned by Zynga are being closed and will see their respective teams relocated&comma; as focus shifts to &&num;8216&semi;creating franchises and driving profitability&comma;&&num;8217&semi; the company announced in a <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;blog&period;zynga&period;com&sol;2013&sol;02&sol;25&sol;coo-update&sol;">blog post today<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Both the McKinney&comma; Texas and downtown Austin offices are to be closed and the teams will move on to the company&&num;8217&semi;s Dallas and North Austin studios&period; Additionally&comma; their Baltimore studio and their New York City offices are being closed&comma; with the NYC staff joining another NYC mobile studio&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Whenever we make changes like this&comma; we have to make some tough decisions around products&comma; teams and people&period; We were able to relocate everyone in the Baltimore office who requested a transfer&comma; and the overall impact of the consolidations on our team is minimal&comma;&&num;8221&semi; said Zynga&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;These changes will further enable us to focus our resources on our most strategic opportunities&period; We’re already working to execute on leveraging franchises to build the largest game network and be profitable on an adjusted EBITDA basis&period; We still have a lot of work to do&comma; but I’m confident that we’re on the right path to deliver on the potential of Zynga&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
