Aerial Raver Launches on Steam Early Access

Early Access gets a mew fighting game today

Aerial Raver is a brand-new early access title launching today on Steam’s Early Access platform. From brand-new developer Meteo Games, Inc. comes a game whose very premise and unique draw are in the title itself. The game has a very significant emphasis on aerial combinations and juggles, akin to games like Marvel vs. Capcom and Dragon Ball FighterZ.

You can watch a trailer for the new early access title here:

Aerial Raver’s Features

Aerial Raver takes this notion of air combos and pushes it to its absolute limits. The player spends time completing tons of challenges to earn Combo$. This money is used to unlock cosmetic items for your characters and new special moves to make your combos even flashier.

The challenges have increasing difficulty and requirements as you complete more and more of them. One such challenge, shown in the video, asks the player to perform a long enough air combo to land 10 special moves in it. Such a challenge can prove to be daunting for some players.

While Aerial Raver’s visuals themselves look pretty primitive, personally, it feels like it’s part of the charm. Fighting games could be not the most visually stellar games, but their gameplay could potentially be super fun. And that’s what honestly matters, whether it’s fun or not.

Aerial Raver is out now (as of the time of this publication) on Steam via its Early Access program. If you would like to view the new game’s details, and maybe purchase it yourself, you can view the game on Steam here.
