The Indie Games Room is an area at AVCon where both Australian and New Zealand developers can showcase their unreleased or newly released video games to the public. This open setting allows players to give the developers feedback on how to improve or just give them general fun feedback on the game they have developed.
With over 50 games on the show floor this year there was no way that I would be able to showcase all of them without getting in somebody’s way, yes I was there as press but when you are new to the scene the nerves kick in… whoops.
Every year I try to get footage of some of the coolest games I saw at the event, though this year I ran out of space on my SD card so I wasn’t able to get much gameplay footage.
Though the footage I got was of some pretty interesting games. The following games are shown in the video.
