Bagocast – EP 6: The Blind Prophet (Review)

<p>Welcome back to another episode of <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;podcasts&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"noopener noreferrer">Bagocast<&sol;a>&excl; In this episode&comma; we will be reviewing <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;6rb7LO6xoX0&amp&semi;t&equals;3s">The Blind Prophet<&sol;a> by Ars Goetia&period; A point-and-click adventure game that has a graphical novel art style&period; The absolutely gorgeous art style lured us into playing the game&period; Our first encounter with The Blind Prophet was great for the first two hours of the game&period; Leaving us filled with glee&comma; but does the rest of the game keep up the momentum or falls apart in the latter parts&quest;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Blind Prophet is set in a fictional city that invested with demons&period; You take control of Bartholomeus&comma; an apostle sent from the heavens to cure the city of the demon plague&period; Traversing through the city&comma; he discovers that the demon&&num;8217&semi;s evil roots have reached further than simply attacking civilians&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Pros<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>Great art style<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Interesting and likable characters<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Music is great<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>The story is &lpar;mostly&rpar; interesting<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Fun puzzles<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p>Cons<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>A couple of plot threads are never addressed<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>The ending feels empty and bitter<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Grammar and misspellings<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p>It&&num;8217&semi;s a shame that The Blind Prophet is held back by a couple of missteps&period; If the developers do fix these problems with a patch&comma; then we can see ourselves giving this game a 9 or 10 out of 10&period;  Sadly&comma; in its current state&comma; we can&&num;8217&semi;t give it those gold tier praises&period; Don&&num;8217&semi;t misunderstand us&comma; The Blind Prophet is still an excellent game&period; Filled with likable character&comma; funny dialogue&comma; fun puzzles&comma; gorgeous art style&comma; and overall interesting story&period; We do hope to see more from The Blind Prophet and look forward to more Ars Goetia&&num;8217&semi;s future titles&period; <img class&equals;"alignnone size-full wp-image-154428" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2020&sol;02&sol;22212424&sol;The-Blind-Prophet&period;jpg" alt&equals;"The Bind Prophet Review" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Rating&colon; 7&sol;10 <&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
