Bullet-Hell Shooter Aeternum Released On Xbox, PC Version In The Works

<p>Wasted Brilliance has announced the release of its debut title <em>Aeternum<&sol;em> on Xbox 360&&num;8217&semi;s indie marketplace&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Aeternum<&sol;em> is a side-scrolling bullet-hell shooter which the press release describes as &&num;8220&semi;the kind of old-school title that should make any child of the 16-bit era proud&&num;8221&semi;&period; The game is priced at just &dollar;1 &lpar;80 MSP&rpar;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A PC version of the game is apparently &&num;8220&semi;in the works&&num;8221&semi;&comma; with an eye on an early 2013 release&period; This version will include &&num;8220&semi;additional dialogue&comma; a new playable character and an EX stage&sol;boss&&num;8221&semi;&period; The latter will also be patched into the Xbox version of the game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The subgenre of bullet-hell shooter is often associated with a high level of difficulty&comma; and <em>Aeternum<&sol;em> is apparently no exception&comma; as Wasted Brilliance has announced a competition alongside the game&&num;8217&semi;s release&colon; &&num;8220&semi;we&&num;8217&semi;re offering up a prize for the first person to show us they can really best the game&period;  All you need to do&comma; is record yourself doing a full play through of Aeternum on Demonic&comma; with no continues &lpar;aka a full 1CC&rpar;&comma; post it to YouTube and let us know to have a look&excl;  The first person &lpar;or maybe a few people&comma; who knows&excl;&rpar; to do this will get a super special package shipped to them&&num;8221&semi;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The developer added&comma; &&num;8220&semi;If you do it on Lunatic instead&comma; we&&num;8217&semi;ll make the pot even sweeter&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
