The creators of the upcoming Ouya console have announced that development consoles will be shipped on 28th December to those who threw in over $700 when the company originally called out for funds via Kickstarter.
The open Android system is predicted to change the way we see video games due to being completely open and essentially inviting anyone who is anyone to crack it open and do as they please.
If you just fancy developing for the Ouya, the Dev Kit itself will be a free download through the creators official website regardless if you contributed to the Kickstarter or not. Could this encourage the console’s launch to be the biggest that the industry has ever seen?
