FUNimation, GameSamba, and NGames Interactive Limited have announced that there will be a mobile game based on the Fairy Tail series before the end of the year.
In this mobile game, you will form a squad of the anime’s characters by recruiting them. It will also feature a new story set in the world of the sequel series.
GameSamba and Kodansha are also developing a web based turn-based MMO based on Fairy Tail, which will be free-to-play. They will be separate. GameSamba are also developing a mobile game based on the anime series Tokyo Ghoul. The studio have released Star Trek: Alien Domain, Historica, Rainbow Saga, Siegelord, and others.
Scott Wang, the President and Co-Founder of GameSamba said in the press release that “Fairy Tail is one of our favorite franchises, and we look forward to working with NGames and FUNimation to create a game fans will love.”
