This timeline offers a quick overview of the history and events of the Guilty Gear series. Alongside this, GG World includes a Glossary for player profiles and story setting descriptions. Think of it as the affinity chart from Xenoblade Chronicles in which all the relationships between every character in the series is explained.

Gallery Mode

Additionally, you can revisit trailers, music, art, and other cool features from previous titles. This is perfect for a trip down memory lane.

Training / Mission Mode

Practice everything from basic fighting game techniques to Guilty Gear Strive’s unique mechanics and some combos. What’s more, in Training Mode, you’ll be able to recreate specific battle scenarios through Training Mode. You can set the training dummy to help you accomplish your goals and prepare for the next fight.

Guilty Gear Strive Online Modes

Online Lobby

Thanks to the blessing that is rollback netcode, players will be able to enjoy matches against other players all over the world. There’s even some neat crossplay between the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of Guilty Gear Strive. With the Online Lobby, players will be able to interact with other players using customizable 3D avatars.

The game’s Online Lobby assigns you to a floor depending on your skill level. Skill level is determined not only by the outcome of your battles. However, it’s also determined by the analysis of your actions during matches. Because players at the same skill level naturally gather on the same floor, everyone from new players to veterans can enjoy tense battles! There’s a special place in Heaven for you if you manage to be the top of the top brass, of course!

Player Match

Enjoy online battles with up to 9 friends in a single room. Rooms will offer a myriad of customization options to fine-tune the player experience. Additionally, you can use Replay Theater to re-live those intense battles you had with your friends. You can search replays and filter them by character or Skill level. Perfect for refining your gameplay for the next battle!
