Guilty Gear Strive Offline Modes Revealed

What players can do aside from fight online

Guilty Gear Strive developers Arc System Works have revealed the newest offline content available for the upcoming title. They’ve done quite a lot with this IP as of late, with new characters and updating years-old ports. In the past, the game also had a closed beta test, that gave a feel for how things would go for the online components of the game.

Lots of fighting games have an abundance of features to choose from between online and offline, and this game is no different. Let’s see what Guilty Gear Strive has to offer for offline players.

Guilty Gear Strive: When You Aren’t Online

Guilty Gear Strive’s offline content is pretty normal, but is still the reliable type of content you can’t go wrong with. What it has is as follows:

An odd omission from this list is Story Mode, which could mean one of two things. It could mean that Story Mode might not be finished yet and could be revealed later. Or, it could mean this game is not going to have a cinematic story mode, which would be a difference from the previous series entry Guilty Gear Xrd. Whether that comes to fruition or not, we don’t know, but we’ll update you when we know for sure.

Guilty Gear Strive is slated to release on April 6th, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. You can view the game’s website here.
