Indie horror Lone Survivor Coming to PS3 and PS Vita in July

<p>London-based developer Curve has announced that Jasper Byrne&&num;8217&semi;s indie horror title <em>Lone Survivor<&sol;em> will be released on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita via the PSN in July&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Originally released on PC and Mac in early 2012&comma; <em>Lone Survivor<&sol;em> is a 2D horror game which received widespread acclaim for its depth of story&comma; effective horror elements&comma; and soundtrack&period; The game sees the player take control of a nameless protagonist attempting to survive in a city full of monsters and who has begun to question his sanity&period; Players are given a large amount of freedom in how they approach the game&comma; whether they opt for stealth or a more action-focused approach&comma; and a variety of options are offered in terms of how the players maintains their character&&num;8217&semi;s physical and mental health&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The PS3 and Vita version of the game is a collaboration between Curve and original creator Byrne&comma; and will be an enhanced version featuring Trophies and both Cross-Buy and Cross-Play support&period; The enhanced version will also contain brand-new content which Byrne revealed in <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;blog&period;eu&period;playstation&period;com&sol;2013&sol;03&sol;13&sol;acclaimed-indie-horror-lone-survivor-coming-soon-to-ps3-and-ps-vita&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">a post on the EU PlayStation Blog<&sol;a>&colon; &&num;8220&semi;19 new items&comma; new dialogue with all NPCs&comma; two extensive new side quests and a brand new &OpenCurlyQuote;Yellow’ ending&comma; featuring an exclusive piece of music&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Byrne also stated that the potential inclusion of touch control for the Vita version of the game was being looked into&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to release one of my games on a console&comma;&&num;8221&semi; said Byrne&comma; &&num;8220&semi;especially of the Sony variety &lpar;as the PlayStation family is still my favourite&excl;&rpar; and I have the utmost confidence in Curve&comma; who are handling the conversion&comma; to produce the ultimate version of the game&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
