Additionally, if you pre-register right now with your e-mail; you’ll gain access to a new playable character in the form of Alia from Mega Man X5: So, yeah! This is going to be a great time for fans of the Mega Man X series. Of course, some players would like to have a primer about what’s going to come to Mega Man X DiVE. So, let’s start looking into what makes this game good.

Mega Man X DiVE – Stages

Mega Man X DiVE brings back your fondest memories of the X series. You’ll be trekking through stages like the Highway from Mega Man X; the Energy Mine Ruins from Maverick Hunter X; the Air Force stage from Mega Man X4; and even the Floating Ruins from Mega Man ZX Advent!

Here are some exclusive screenshots provided by Capcom Taiwan:

That’s going to be a great trip down memory lane, huh? However, there will also be some new tricks that X and company will bring to turn the tide of combat.

The DiVE Trigger System

Every character has their own skills. For example, X has his trademark X Buster while Zero uses skills like Ryuenjin. However, Mega Man X DiVE will also use a unique skill system called “DiVE Trigger,” which can be acquired through “Skills” in the “Lab” once your account reaches a specific level.

The DiVE Trigger is a highly damaging special skill that will be able to make a difference in PvP or in normal stages. Of course, since it’s going to be a powerful skill, it can only be used once in combat. So, using the skill will come down to playing your cards right and learning when to strike.
