Patrice Desilets, the designer that the Assassin’s Creed franchise can thank for even existing, has been confirmed to have returned to Ubisoft, Polygon reports. A spokesperson for the developer/publisher had the following to say:
“We are very pleased to welcome Patrice to Ubisoft again and anticipate that this renewed partnership will produce new ideas and high-quality titles for Ubisoft’s customers.”
Desilets’ return to Ubisoft follows Ubisoft’s acquirement of THQ Montreal, where Desilets worked after initially leaving the company, when THQ began auctioning off their assets Two of the teams projects, 1666 and Underdog, are still assumed to be in development.
