<p>During The Game Awards 2015, indie developer and publisher Psyonix announced that <em>Rocket League</em> will be racing to the Xbox One in February, 2016.</p>
<p>The critically acclaimed game, which first arrived on the PlayStation 4 and PC in July of this year, will come to the Xbox One with all of the original content plus all three previously-released DLC packs. The showcased <em>Gears of War </em>Armadillo and <em>Halo </em>Hogsticker cars will also be included exclusively for this version of <em>Rocket League</em>. Purchasable day-one DLC has been planned and will include the <em>Back to the Future</em> <em>Car Pack</em>.</p>
<p>Studio Director and CEO of Psyonix, Dave Hagewood, had the following to say about the exciting reveal: &#8220;Our goal with <em>Rocket League</em> is to continually improve, grow, and evolve the game while keeping its core fundamentals in focus. With our new Xbox One version, fans will not only get some great exclusives and a great value, but also, the kind of multiplayer gameplay that has made <em>Rocket League</em> a great passion for our players and for us.&#8221;</p>
<p>During last night&#8217;s show,<em> Rocket League</em> was awarded as the Best Independent Game and Best Sports/Racing Game of the year.</p>
<p><em>Rocket League</em> will cost USD $19.99 when it arrives on Xbox One early next year&#8211;the current price of the quirky sports game on PlayStation 4 and PC.</p>
