Shadow Man: Remastered Announced

A classic adventure from 1999 hits 4K

Today, Nightdive Studios, in association with Valiant Entertainment, announced Shadow Man Remastered for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG. The announcement also comes with additional information and quotes from Nightdive Studios and Valiant Entertainment’s CEOs, respectively.

When asked about the creative process for this remaster, Nightdive CEO Stephen Kick explains, “Our goal with the remaster is to give today’s generation of gamers all the features that they expect from a modern title while preserving the qualities that made Valiant’s iconic character and the original Shadow Man game such memorable classics to begin with.”

Valiant Entertainment’s CEO Dan Mintz agreed, and mentioned that along with growth into the industry, they’re “happy to bring Valiant fans this immensely popular Shadow Man character as the next title we release.”

They also revealed that Nightdive is using their unique KEX engine to create Shadow Man: Remastered. This engine’s been used by them in the past, restoring classic video games such as System Shock: Enhanced Edition, Turok, and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.

Shadow Man: Remastered has been slated to release sometime in 2021.
