The previously Xbox 360 and PC exclusive platformer, Super Meat Boy, will be coming to the PS4 and Vita this Fall. A comical trailer has accompanied this announcement.
Tommy Refenes, a developer of the game, said that “they hated that they had to alienate the loyal PlayStation fans who desperately wanted the game but couldn’t have it” after an exclusivity deal with Microsoft. However, earlier this year, Team Meat found a way to bring the title to PlayStation 4 and Vita. Dust: An Elysian Tail is another example of an Xbox 360 and PC exclusive coming to a PlayStation platform, the PS4.
Team Meat have also announced that Super Meat Boy will be free with PlayStation Plus when it releases this Fall, as a way of thanking PlayStation owners for “waiting patiently.”
