The Phone Mystery Game Replica is Coming to Switch this Fall

Huh… Why can’t I avoid a sense of Déjà vu when talking about this? In any case, it’s recently been announced that Replica, a game that first came to the Steam Storefront in July 2016 is going to have a Nintendo Switch port. According to Playism and the developer Somi, the port will be available this fall.

Replica: Visual Novel Game

In Replica, you get a cellphone of unknown origin and owner. Of course, since that is always suspicious, you’re going to snoop in and uncover clues. Under governmental coercion, you’ll have to look for evidence of terrorism by inspecting things such as the user’s social media and activities.

Of course, you have to figure out the user’s passwords to access their social media and continue uncovering a conspiracy theory. The insane experience of peeping into someone’s private life through a cellphone will transform you into the state’s greatest patriot. The game also provides 12 different endings for you to find.

But really, is it actually a terrorist threat you’re facing? Or are you going through the phone of an innocent man who has a rebellious spirit? Are you going to do the right thing or are you going to cover your own hide while throwing someone else under the bus? Of course, nobody can tell you what the right choice actually is but yourself. So, start uncovering the truth and figure out what’s best for everyone.
