Immortals Fenyx Rising Tips And Tricks

Immortals Fenyx Rising guide

This year was finally the decisive one for Ubisoft. After many postponements in recent years, they have published most of their flagship titles. Watch Dogs: Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla were perhaps the most anticipated, but a completely new title was just waiting for its moment to shine. I am talking about Immortals Fenyx Rising. The game is not scoring too bad with audiences and critics, so I thought it might be useful to give you some help. Here is my complete Immortals Fenyx Rising tips and tricks guide.

As I have mentioned in my review, Immortals Fenyx Rising bears many similarities to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, the game still takes its own path, resulting in fresh and unique gameplay. The setting is also totally different. Here you go in to the heart of a mythological world where divinities are real and a threat looms.

OBSERVE FAR AND WIDE

Exploration is perhaps the most important gameplay element in Immortals Fenyx Rising. By discovering new places, you will gain items and equipment. This will happen especially by reaching the top of pillars, columns, buildings, and natural elements of the landscape such as very high hills. In this elevated position, it might be useful to observe the landscape from a better perspective. To do this, you can make use of your Far Sight skill. This allows you to highlight certain places of interest with icons on the screen.

However, not everything will be revealed to you with a single glance. There is in fact a mini-game that you need to play to make the tokens appear on the screen. By activating the skill, you will be able to see the landscape in first person and you can observe the surroundings much better. If you find something that particularly interests you, you can try to reach it directly on foot. However, I advise you to use the tokens by placing them while using Far Sight.

MAXIMIZE YOUR STAMINA

When I wrote about traveling on foot, I was well aware of all the means Fenyx has to get around. Fenyx can in fact glide, swim, run, and double jump. However, each of these actions temporarily cost some stamina. Take note that you can increase their capacity by maximizing the stamina. You can do this at the Bench of Zeus in the Hall of the Gods.

Using this feature allows you to add more resistance each time you find a few pieces of Zeus’ lightning bolt. It will take several fragments of lightning to increase the quantity in Immortals Fenyx Rising. To earn more, the quickest method is to complete the Vaults of Tartarus. These vaults can be located by exploring the map or revealing them with Far Sight.

To improve the consumption instead, you will need to enhance your divine powers at the River Styx Cistern. I recommend getting Climb Leap. This allows you to travel faster vertically while consuming less resistance than climbing. Glide Boost will make you fly faster and farther while consuming less stamina. Swim Dash allows faster movements in swimming and lower consumption of resistance.

ENHANCE AND CUSTOMIZE

You don’t have to worry too much about increasing the resistance at the expense of the attack. This is because Immortals Fenyx Rising has made sure that the weapon enhancement system gives general benefits to the whole character. Each time you upgrade a weapon, those improvements benefit the entire category it belongs to.

To maximize the potential of your equipment, you will need to head to the Forge of Hephaistos in the Hall of the Gods. Bet on the ones that best suit your way of playing, whether it’s defensive or offensive. It is also possible to change the appearance of your equipment as you wish. To do this, enter the menu and proceed to the object you want to modify and then select Customize.

THROWING TOWARDS VICTORY

At the beginning of Immortals Fenyx Rising, you will not have great superhuman strength. You will have to make do with the weak tools and powers you have. You will be able to obtain your first divine power in the first few hours of the game: Herakles Strength. In this way your strength will be such that you can collect rocks and large containers and then be able to throw them.

One of the biggest benefits of throwing objects is the sizeable amount of damage they are capable of doing when directed at an unsuspecting enemy. This is a power that is especially effective during the first few hours of play. The damage done by throwing against enemies is hugely amplified by equipment like the Mane of Pride.

This is a helmet that deals 150% damage against unharmed enemies. You can find it near the place where you got Herakles Strength. At this point, all you need to do is look for a target and hit it with a boulder in the face. This will cause hundreds of damage without great difficulty.

SWORD AND AXE

Right at the start of Immortals Fenyx Rising, you will get two melee weapons: the Sword of Achilles and the Axe of Atalanta. The Sword of Achilles excels at fast attacks, especially when dodging when time is slow. Use the sword in situations where you want to quickly inflict damage to the red health bar of enemies.

It’s also a great tool to use when flying enemies get close enough to get hit by jumping twice at them. The Axe of Atalanta, on the other hand, is most effective when you want to cause stun damage to the enemy’s blue bar. You will quickly learn that shielded enemies deflect sword blows but stagger when hit with the axe.

Hit them enough with large weapons and they’ll expose themselves. This will allow you to follow them with faster sword strikes. Use the axe on large enemies with large health bars to fill their blue bars and knock them out temporarily, then go back to using your sword.
