Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to be released in Holiday 2016, but people seem to already be moving on from the game. One of the writers on board for the upcoming sci-fi epic, Chris Schlerf, has departed from the company. This is the second notable departure from the game, and third from the company. Last month saw David Gaider leave Bioware for Beamdog, and December had the director of Mass Effect: Andromeda, Chris Wynn, leave the game.

While Chris Schlerf has left the game behind, he is still going to be delving into a world of science fiction. This time, it will be to help Guardians fight the Darkness in Destiny, as Schlerf also stated on Twitter that he would be heading to Bungie. This is great news for Destiny fans, as the game has seen a lot of flack lately from its lack of content. Our review of The Taken King, Destiny‘s last expansion, highlighted the interesting story and compelling writing, which Schlerf will now get to help craft for the future of the game. Bungie recently gifted fans free high light-level Ghosts for completing certain tasks in their Crimson Days events, as a way of showing their appreciation.

Chris Schlerf has also previously written for Halo 4 with 343 Games, who took the series over after Bungie moved onto Destiny. Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled to be released in Holiday 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
