Anime Impressions: Tower Of God

<p>It is said that whosoever can climb the tower of god&semi; all of their wishes would be granted no matter the nature&period; As such&comma; Rachel ventures into the tower to fulfil her wish to see the stars&comma; leaving Bam behind despite his feelings against it&period; Bam then follows Rachel into the tower after her&period; Upon reaching the entrance&comma; he meets a creature named Hedon&semi; the gatekeeper and overseer of the tower&period; He tells Bam in order to move up he&&num;8217&semi;ll have to prove his worth&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3><img class&equals;"aligncenter wp-image-156360 size-full" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2020&sol;04&sol;06112529&sol;Tower-of-God-Ep1&period;jpg" alt&equals;"Tower Of God Hedon" &sol;><&sol;h3>&NewLine;<h3 style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;">Bam&&num;8217&semi;s Challenge<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>More specifically&comma; he&&num;8217&semi;ll have to get past a gigantic sea eel to break a mysterious black ball&period; Before he does&comma; however&comma; he meets the Princess Yuri of Jahad and her navigator Evan&period; They seem to have been in the tower for some time and aids Bam by lending him a magic sword named Black March&period; He uses the power of the sword &lpar;which materializes as a woman&rpar; to finally break the ball and move up to the next level&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He wakes up the next day to see that the next challenge has begun&period; The challenge is to reduce the number of contenders from 400 to 200 by any means necessary&period; With enemies left and right Bam realizes he&&num;8217&semi;s bit off more than he could chew&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"aligncenter wp-image-156362 size-full" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2020&sol;04&sol;06112605&sol;Tower-of-god&period;jpg" alt&equals;"Tower Of God Princess and Bam" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3 style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;">An Intriguing Story<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;crunchyroll-reveals-its-first-slate-of-originals&sol;">Tower of God<&sol;a> is surprisingly more captivating than I expected&period; The series has a charming fairy tale vibe going on&comma; as well as a genuinely enjoyably cast of characters&period; It also has notably intriguing fantasy elements&comma; such as the magic seen when Bam unleashes the full power of the sword&comma; along with the other mix of sentient characters that both look mythological and somewhat human as well&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>As I&&num;8217&semi;m sure you can tell&comma; the plot seems to be quite mysterious only showing us things it wants to&period; We never know of where Bam or Rachel comes from only that they became friends when Rachel saved him from a cavern&period; We also don&&num;8217&semi;t know much of the world either&comma; or even how the magic works&comma; let alone why a princess would be interested in climbing a tower&comma; and why the language she speaks is quite different from Bam&&num;8217&semi;s&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Bam himself is a mystery as he has no knowledge of the tower and his only driving force is to be reunited with Rachel&period; He obviously has no idea what he&&num;8217&semi;s doing and only seems to be getting ahead due to his &&num;8220&semi;cute face&&num;8221&semi;&comma; and him being the main character&period; Which is both hilarious and very <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;anime-review-houseki-no-kuni&sol;">anime<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The anime is also noticeably gorier than expected due to its fantasy vibe and good-natured characters introduced&period; This&comma; however&comma; changes quickly when he&&num;8217&semi;s dropped in a Hunger Games scenario in what looks like a mouse dropped in a field of cats&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><img class&equals;"aligncenter wp-image-156364 size-full" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2020&sol;04&sol;06112654&sol;Tower-of-God-Episode-1&period;jpeg" alt&equals;"Tower Of God Bam" &sol;><&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3 style&equals;"text-align&colon; we&&num;8217&semi;ll get the much-needed information we deserve in subsequent episodes&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Overall&comma; the anime looks promising with stellar production&comma; satisfying animation&comma;
