The long-awaited mobile version of the famous MOBA League of Legends is in full swing. Many players who never played LoL before, can now enjoy the joys and pains wherever you go. The open beta phase seems to have ended and the start of the first season is imminent. While gamers from the PC version got off to a strong start, the same cannot be said for everyone else. It will be very important for you to know who are the best champions! Here is my League of Legends: Wild Rift best champions guide.
GAREN – THE MIGHT OF DEMACIA
Garen hails from the Demacia region. He is one League of Legends: Wild Rift champion that is excellent in both the PC and mobile versions. He falls under the fighter / tank class. Garen is a character that can survive for quite a long time and will never neglect a good dose of damage towards the opponent. All his skills are extremely simple to use and he allows you to go unpunished, even in case of mistakes that an inexperienced player usually makes. I typically use him in the baron’s lane.
Take note that in the first phase of the game you will have no allies in the lane. Perseverance is the name of his passive ability. He can regenerate health out of combat. This is very useful for staying in lane even when things are going badly. The first active ability, Decisive Strike, allows Garen to escape from tricky situations by releasing slowdowns. This deals a fair amount of damage to a single enemy. The second ability, Courage, helps make Garen particularly difficult to kill.
This provides him with damage reduction and making him less vulnerable to slowing effects. With Judgment, the third ability, you can inflict sustained and area-based damage. Finally, he has an ultimate ability know as Demacian Justice. This is perfect for finishing off a damaged enemy and also deals area damage to other enemies. In short, Garen is the perfect choice for newbies who love knights and champions of justice. Becoming familiar with his simple skills will especially help those who are just starting out.
MASTER YI – THE WUJU BLADESMAN
This League of Legends: Wild Rift champion is originally from the Ionia region. He has a very basic skill set, just like Garen. Unlike the latter, however, it requires a certain amount of practice before you can use it well. This is because a champion with simple moves is not always exploited properly. The role of Master Yi is that of the Assassin / Fighter. This will allow you to roam the jungle undisturbed in the first few minutes of the game.
By doing this, you will also get used to the effects of your skills. However, be careful, because great powers come with great responsibilities! If at first you are partially free, your impact on the game will be enormous in the later stages. You will have to be good at exploiting your potential. Your power is essentially based on the speed and strength of your basic attacks.
His passive, Double Strike, allows you to strike twice for every few consecutive basic attacks. His first active is Alpha Strike. This allows you to hit multiple targets and, crucially, makes you impossible to hit for the duration of the ability. His Wuju style blends seamlessly with passive, increasing the bonus damage dealt by attacks.
Meditation differs greatly from the others and allows you to heal yourself and reduce the damage taken. This is perfect for the middle phases of the fight. His Ultimate ability is known as the Highlander and this is a concentration of pure power. Master Yi becomes faster in movements and attacks, as well as in reloading other skills. By doing this, you also gain resistance to slowdowns.
ASHE – THE FROST ARCHER
This League of Legends: Wild Rift champion is another perfect character for beginners. Ashe is a Marksman from Frejlord and finds her ideal position in the dragon’s lane. She likes to work alongside a support to aid her in her work. Normal marksmen base their damage on the high speed of ranged attacks. However, Ashe stands out for her ability to slow enemies down with Frost Shots. Frost Shot, her passive, does just that. It slows down enemies with each attack, while also dealing bonus damage.
Ranger’s Focus is her first active skill. This allows you to accumulate charges and then transform them by increasing the speed and damage of your attacks. Volley, the second active, is a hard area to dodge. While not inflicting high damage, it also slows down enemies providing a significant advantage in the game. Ashe’s most fun skill to use is undoubtedly the Enchanted Crystal Arrow. This allows you to stun enemies even at a great distance and can be directed even after launch.
ANNIE – THE DARK CHILD
To conclude, here is a very strong mid lane mage. This is a League of Legends: Wild Rift champion from Noxus. She is a little girl who always wanders with her bear ‘Tibbers’. Annie’s main weapon of choice is fire. Her passive, known as Pyromania, allows her to stun opponents every four skills cast. This mechanic is the only relatively unintuitive part of Annie, but it can be mastered quickly.
Once you understand how and when to stun enemies, the rest of the work is done by the huge area damage that her skills are capable of. These skills are Disintegrate and Incinerate. Annie also possesses the ability to defend herself or allies using a shield that deals damage to attackers. You can also summon Tibbers with her ultimate ability. Tibbers can battle for a very long time, raging on the death of his mistress, inflicting even more damage.
CONCLUSION
With this short LoL Wild Rift guide, I wanted to focus on the best champions without talking about items or runes. I deliberately overlooked this part of the game, because the builds set by the game, while not perfect, are definitely acceptable for those who are just starting out. I think it’s best to focus on champions and game mechanics first. When you understand that, then you can move on to customization once you become more experienced.
