Bethesda Game Studios has officially confirmed Skyrim Special Edition during their Bethesda E3 Showcase conference.
Reported earlier this week, rumors for a Skyrim remaster grew hot when an industry insider hinted at the game’s presence at E3 2016 and an online retailer leaked a pre-order page for the popular entry in the Elder Scrolls series.
During the conference, Bethesda showed off the remastered graphics with back-and-forth comparisons of the game’s PS3 graphics versus the PS4, and the Xbox 360 graphics versus the Xbox One graphics. The Special Edition includes new snow shaders, water shaders, and dynamic depth of field features amongst many other graphical overhauls, and the results are stunning.
Much to the pleasure of console gamers, Skryrim Special Edition will include the ability to play the game using mods.
Skyrim Special Edition will release on October 28 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more on the remaster, keep it here on BagoGames and be sure to check out the video above.
