The Pokemon Company has recently hosted many online tournaments for both Pokemon Black & White and Pokemon Black 2 & White 2 but many gamers claim that it is unfair due to the amount of people who cheat during the tournaments making it near-impossible to get a victory in the heat of battle.
Now, The Pokemon Company has revealed just how many people had cheated in the game. 50,000 Pokemon Trainers took part in the 2013 Global Showdown (not to be confused with the recent video game championships in real-life) but 1,558 of them were found to have cheated having powered up their Pokemon using external devices meaning that their stats were impossible to achieve legitimately.
The specific statistics were revealed per division:
- Junior Division: 68 cheating players
- Senior Division: 335 cheating players
- Master Division: 1155 cheating players
Did you notice any cheaters when you took part in the 2013 Global Showdown Wi-Fi tournament?
