The Nintendo Direct revealed some new 3DS titles along with some release dates for previously announced games. You can watch the entire Direct video here.
With spring and summer approaching and the urge to go outside comes some new on-the-go games playable on the Nintendo 3DS:
Kirby: Planet Robobot along with the corresponding amiibo are launching June 10.
Metroid Prime: Federation Force, the 1st person co-op with RPG-like roles, is being released this spring.
Rhythm Heaven Megamix will launch later in 2016 and will include over 100 rhythm games.
Monster Hunter Generations, known as Monster Hunter Cross in Japan, is going to North America this summer. For more details, read our coverage of the Generations news here.
Disney Art Academy that features tutorials on drawing beloved characters from both Disney and Pixar franchises will launch on May 13th.
Hyrule Warriors Legends releases on March 25th along with the season pass for DLC packs and the Ganondorf costume. Medli from Wind Waker will be free to download once the first DLC is released.
Bravely Second: End Layer – the full game launches on April 15th and a demo will be free beginning on March 10th from the eShop. The bonuses earned in the demo can be transferred to the full game.
The eShop also had a few new games announced through the Nintendo Direct as well:
The Virtual Console will get several SNES titles with some graphic adjustments.
Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 is currently $9.99 now through June 1st on the eShop as a special pre-purchase price. The game will eventually be launched sometime this summer.
Pocket Card Jockey is a mash-up of solitaire and horse racing all in the same game. As odd as it looks, the game is not a joke and will be released this May.
It certainly looks like a mix of exciting (and some disappointing) titles are planned to launch this spring and summer. At least with your 3DS you’ll have plenty of fun being outdoors!
