Xbox 360-owning Resident Evil fans who were disappointed with the action-heavy Resident Evil 6 might be pleased to know that fresh evidence has been revealed suggesting that Resident Evil: Revelations, which offers a more traditional survival horror experience, will be ported to Microsoft’s console.
It was originally hinted back in November that Nintendo 3DS title Resident Evil: Revelations would also be released on Xbox 360 and PS3, when Korean ratings board GRB listed such a port, despite there being no official announcement from Capcom.
Although Capcom has still yet to make any kind of announcement, a list of Xbox 360 achievements for the game has appeared, with the port’s full title apparently being Resident Evil: Revelations – Unveiled Edition. The achievements cover “Campaign” and “Raid” modes, both of which featured in the original release.
Resident Evil: Revelations was released on Nintendo 3DS in early 2012 and was hailed by many long-time Resident Evil fans as a welcome return to the series’ survival horror roots, with limited ammunition and a focus on exploration and puzzle-solving rather than over-the-top spectacle and combat.
