After becoming hugely popular on PC with the HTC Vive platform, Out of Ammo has made its way to PlayStation VR! With over 500 “Very Positive” reviews on Steam and tons of YouTube coverage (even from popular YouTubers like JackSepticEye,) Out of Ammo already has made its mark on the VR community.
Out of Ammo is a room-scale VR game designed around commanding military units as you defend your territory against wave after wave of soldiers that want to destroy you. In addition to being able to possess specific units to fight as them, you can also issue commands to your army in order to execute a variety of strategic maneuvers.
Command a wide array of units, such as riflemen, medics, snipers, and more in both single and multiplayer modes. There is a lot of content in Out of Ammo to be enjoyed, and now PlayStation VR users will be able to dive right into it.
Out of Ammo is the explosive action-packed original VR experience developed by RocketWerkz, a company founded by the creator of DayZ, Dean Hall. Zen Studios partnered with RocketWerkz to bring this exhilarating combat title to PlayStation VR as the game to launch Zen’s publishing initiative focused on porting quality indie PC titles to console audiences.
Personally, I think bringing more PC indie games to consoles can only help the industry. It gives indie developers more exposure to a wider market and also gives console gamers the opportunity to enjoy these experiences previously only available on PC.
