Bandai Namco have released a trailer for Dragonball Z: Extreme Butoden at Anime Expo, and announced a new 3DS bundle.
At Anime Expo, Dragonball Z: Extreme Butoden is being showcased with its 2D fighting game mechanics on the Nintendo 3DS.
A new Nintendo 3DS bundle was also announced for Europe, and according to Bandai Namco, it will “have custom 3DS cover plates, the game pre-installed and the digital SNES game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2!” To clarify this bundle is the “new” Nintendo 3DS, not the original.
The game is being worked on by Guilty Gear and Persona 4 Arena developer Arc System Works. It will include over 20 playable characters and 100 support characters to choose from. In addition, there will be a local multiplayer mode.
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden will be released on October 16th in Europe and October 20th in North America.
