Consulting company Interbrand has named 2013’s most valuable brand in the world and for the first time in the companies history, Coca Cola has been beaten to the top by tech company Apple.
This means that Apple has gone from being eighth (2011) to second (2012) to being the most valuable brand in the world. This report estimates that Apple’s brand value is $98.3 billion.
In the video game space, Microsoft placed fifth, Sony placed forty-sixth and Nintendo placed sixty-seventh.
