After five years of iTunes generating another source of income for Apple, the company have finally decided that now is the time to reveal which titles are the most popular in the traditional four categories used by iTunes; Best Selling iPhone Apps (Paid), Most Popular iPhone Apps (Free), Best Selling iPad Apps (Paid) and Most Popular iPad Apps (Free).
But which title came out on top?
Taking nobody by surprise is that Rovio’s Angry Birds series has done exceedingly well over the past five years and you’ll see plenty a bird or two across all charts, whilst other long-time-favorites such as Doodle Jump and Cut the Rope also appear.
