Ubisoft has released the first gameplay trailer for their newest entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. In it, we see new protagonist Edward Kenway do just about everything we can probably expect to do ourselves, from swimming, to fighting with two swords to navigating his way through the jungle, to that good old naval combat we came to enjoy from Assassin’s Creed III.
The trailer for the game makes pirate-life look like all thrill and no worry. In fact, the voice-over featured in the trailer even notes how, for one brief, shining moment, a select group of people were able to live without responsibility.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has a release date of October 29th, and those that pre-order the game can acquire the Black Island treasure hunting quest, the deadly Black Ship, Captain Morgan’s gun and the outfit of Captain Morgan himself for multiplayer.
