Ubisoft needs to hire a new plumber because of all the leaks going on around there. Although I may be fired for making such a poor joke I feel like it was worth it. The ‘leaks’ cough cough led to a quick announcement by Ubisoft that the game Assassin’s Creed Rogue will be released for the 11th November on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
The announcement was followed by a trailer which contains a man with a funny Irish accent executing an assassin. Apparently the man in question is an Assassin turned Templar who goes by the name Shay Patrick Cormac or Irish McIreland O’Irishman, his codename.
It’s set in the 18th century and aims to complete the saga of the North American series of the ‘Creed games. In the trailer we do see a ship behind Paddy so there may be an inclusion of the gameplay from Black Flag. The game coincides with Ps4 and Xbox One’s Unity, although set on different continents they could definitely coincide with each other. The 7 years war, aka WW1: Prologue, is the current turmoil in which Shay Patrick Cormac decides to turn on his brothers and mentor to follow ‘his own creed.’
An interesting end to a very interesting saga.
