Warner Bros. released two bits of news today regarding their upcoming blockbuster, Batman: Arkham Knight.
First, let’s get the bad news out of the way, Rocksteady is not ready to release the game in October of this year, as planned. Instead, they’ll be releasing the game sometime in 2015. Disappointing for sure as this is just the latest in a string of high profile games to be delayed. Are games getting harder to make due to next-gen? Or is the $60 price tag driving delays as developers look to cram in as much extra content as possible? Either way, it is a growing trend to push the game back and who can really complain if it has the same results as say Watch Dogs is enjoying right now.
And now for the good news. Warner Bros. released a new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight which showcases the sheer brutality this vehicle can dish out. Not only is the Batmobile more than enough car to cruise around Gotham in, it also comes equipped with some serious fire power in the form of Battle mode. With the push of a button, players can switch between Battle Mode and Pursuit mode. By the looks of the trailer, levels have been designed to incorporate both modes.
Again, Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed till 2015, when it will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
