Promise after promise and WB Games still can’t deliver a PC patch to fix some of the performance issues that have been plaguing the PC version of Batman Arkham Knight since launch. This is getting to the point where broken promises aren’t enough, the community deserves to be in the loop at every stage of testing at this point. The latest broken promise was in the form of the previously announced “Interim Patch” , which was originally scheduled for sometime in August.
Yorick, The Community Admin for the whole of community.wbgames.com, decided it should be about time the community heard some news in relation to the so called “Interim Patch”. Yorick said on both Steam and The WB forums:
“We are now putting the first interim patch into testing. If all goes well, we expect to issue the patch in the next few weeks. We’ll be sure to report back in the next two weeks on how the testing is coming along”.
Yorick said, There is also a list of “major fixes” that will be apart of this patch.
Here are the fixes as he laid them out:
He ended his lengthy statement with:
“While our first priority is fixing the issues listed above, the team is continuing to work on the following”.
…Is it just me or is skipping boot up splash screens seem easy to implement for most developers? As for the photomode, that shouldn’t be a priority right now with all these other major issues still unfixed.
