The next exciting and anticipated installment in the Batman Arkham series aka Batman: Arkham Origins will supposedly have a multiplayer mode with more than just the bat swooping out of the bat cave. According to Kotaku, who cited two sources, one of the modes will be similar to the first Lego Batman installment where you could play as one of many of Batman’s evil adversaries and experience their side of the story. However, in this case, the mode will put the players in clown shoes to be part of Joker’s gang or wrestling unitards in Bane’s gang to help stop Batman and Robin from doing their heroic deeds.
Kotaku’s site listed several different choices of baddies from which players could choose from to wreck havoc in dark and murky Arkham city. They said that some might be playable and customizable but its not clear as to which ones. Kotaku listed Killer Croc, Deadshot, Firefly, Black Mask, Deathstroke, and “some kind of Electroman character”. Regarding the multiplayer Kotaku said on their site,
“This could be one multi-player mode, or it could be the only one. We don’t know.”
The Batman: Arkham Origins game is set to launch on October 25 for the current platforms, PC, and on Vita and 3DS.
