After what has felt (and has been!) years of waiting, The Behemoth’s next XBLA title, Battle Block Theater, will be released later today, but the company have already put in plans for you to get even more content out of your new game, as well as new content for games you probably already own too!
For those of you who remember, if you owned Alien Hominid and had a save on your Xbox 360 you unlocked the little alien of horror to play as throughout Castle Crashers, well the exciting news is that The Behemoth are doing a similar thing with Hatty Hattington (the main character in Battle Block Theatre) as he will be made playable in Castle Crashers after you earn at least one achievement in his game. Fantastic!
But the fun doesn’t stop there though! What about that brand spanking new game that your simply dying to download tomorrow when XBLA opens its doors, showcasing its new stock to you? Well The Behemoth have you covered here too as those who have the full version of Castle Crashers and/or Alien Hominid HD will be able to unlock said characters in Battle Block Theatre!
It’s a case of actions speak louder than words as The Behemoth could simply charge you for this additional content although they have seen fit to reward gamers who have already supported them with these little nuggets of fun.
