NCSOFT West has released the first content update for Blade & Soul, featuring three new max-level PvE content accessible after defeating Vice Admiral Poharan.
The new update is called Rising Waters, and it includes Bloodshade Harbor, Nightshade Harbor, Musin’s Tower (including Floors 1-7), and five new Hongmoon Levels.
The Bloodshade Harbor is a 4 to 6 player Heroic dungeon, with Nightshade Harbor being the same dungeon, but optimized for 24 players.
Both Harbors presents new challenges and epic battles against the Blackram Pirates and even Poharan’s boss, Admiral Hae Mujin.
Mushin’s Tower is a single-player dungeon which allows for greater awards for players on their quest for vengeance, and also presents challenging combat events, as you will be fighting on your own. Initially, the Tower will have 7 floors, but more floors and content is expected to be added in future updates.
And the final part in the new update to Blade & Soul are the new Hongmoon Levels. The Hongmoon Levels are designed to allow players to continue gaining experience and awards past the 45 level-cap (which is when the Levels will unlock). The new Levels will also provide characters with additional skill points to increase players’ strength and prowess in battle.
Rising Waters also marks the start of Blade & Soul’s PvP preseason. This means that players will now find new in-game UI in order to help players evaluate their skill level, as well as earn Zen Beans (PvP currency) from competing with other players.
