Digerati Distribution, working with developers Bootdisk Revolution and Nephilim Game Studios, are delighted to announce that Bleed 2 will be launching on PlayStation 4 on the 6th (in the US) and 7th (in the EU) of February; Bleed 2 will then release on the Xbox One on the 9th. In addition to this announcement, Xbox One owners can pre-order the game from the Xbox Store and enjoy a 10% discount off the purchase of the game.
Bleed 2 released on PC back in February of 2017, and immediately won over critics with its fast-paced action and well-polished control scheme. Two notable names that consider themselves Bleed 2 fans are Cuphead co-creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer, who praised the sequel by stating –
“Bleed 2 is the ultimate all-killer, no-filler game. It’s an hour of blisteringly fast-paced run and gun shooting with slow-mo, multiple air dashes, bullet reflecting, boss crushing gameplay. Saying Bleed 2 is intense is an understatement.”
For the creators of Cuphead to make such high praise is no small statement, as many considered Cuphead to be a contender for Game of the Year 2017, and them praising an indie title that is in the same genre definitely shows that the developers know what they are doing.
If you are currently unaware of what this game is, here is a short explanation according to the press release, and the developers. –
“Bleed 2 welcomes back pink-haired heroine Wryn, the world’s greatest – and only remaining – hero, as she fights to defend the globe from an invading force of villains.
Master the art of air-dodging and bullet-reflecting to stylishly take down a relentless barrage of bad guys and bosses (and naughty kittys!), and make sure Wryn lives up to her title as the Greatest Hero of All Time!”
Showcasing 7 Intense levels with over 25 bosses, Bleed 2 offers intense single or local co-op (for two players) action across 4 difficulty levels. If you aren’t a PC gamer and want to check out Bleed 2, you will soon have your chance, so keep your eyes peeled next week for the official release!
