Players will be a few steps further from Fromsoftware’s new-gen hell, according to new reports. The news was confirmed by producer Masaaki Yamagiwa that Bloodborne would be delayed a month from its original February, 2015 release.
“It is with regret that I must inform you that Bloodborne will be slightly delayed,” Yamagiwa wrote on the Playstation Blog. “We were gratified by the feedback and data we received from those who participated in our limited Alpha test. The extra production time will also allow us to better integrate these learnings.”
FromSoftware’s upcoming Bloodborne will be moved from February to Mar. 24th, 2015 in North America and PAL regions except for the UK and Ireland, which is now Mar. 27th.
Yamagiwa goes on to point out there’s some “exciting” Bloodborne news coming in early December.
The news comes to us following Bloodborne’s alpha test last month which was later pulled citing “a defect” and “some issues.” The game was once theorized to be a possible Dark Souls sequel, though the game was confirmed to be a separate work apart from Bandai Namco’s JRPG series.
