Earlier today, Sledgehammer Games and Activision released a story trailer for their upcoming game, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
COD players rarely gravitate to Activision’s annualized franchise for its story but this hasn’t stopped Sledgehammer from putting its best foot forward in trying to sway the court of public opinion. Glen Schofield and company worked on this particular story for two and a half years plus.
In Advanced Warfare, players will be thrown into the first global terrorist attack in history. In a last ditch effort to put an end to the crisis, unilaterally world governments have turned to a PMC organization to rid the world of these terrorists. Set in 2054, the leader of the private military is played by Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released November 4.
